Amplitude – Vol. 2

First and foremost, THANK YOU to our incredible USA Gymnastics Foundation Family! We are so inspired by the impact you are making as donors to the Foundation. I hope you’ll read this newsletter and feel proud of the real difference your support is making.

It has been such a great summer as I’ve been able to share the messaging of the USA Gymnastics Foundation out in the community. We attended the following events:

  • 2025 Development National Championships in Salt Lake City, UT in May
  • 2025 USA Gymnastics Championships in Providence, RI in June
  • 2025 U.S. Classic Presented by Saatva in Hoffman Estates, IL in July

Last month, I had the privilege of spending an exciting week at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships in New Orleans. We hosted our first-ever Podium Club Breakfast for 45 people and organized the inaugural Champions Council VIP Day — two milestones that brought our donor community together in meaningful ways.

We are so grateful to Li Li Leung, Carly Patterson, and Paul Juda for making each of these events special for our guests!

A special highlight was when Podium Club member Dara DeHaven won Carly Patterson’s leotard—and then generously gifted her prize to a young gymnast at the event! That moment reflected the generosity, connection, and care within our gymnastics community. (See photo below)

The future is bright, and that’s because of YOU.

As we look toward the year-end giving season, we’re excited to keep building momentum by empowering champions and enriching communities!

Thank you again for your support—we can’t wait to share more in the months ahead!

With gratitude,
Debbie Hesse
Executive Director, USA Gymnastics Foundation

From Gymnast to Leader: Ashley Davis Gives Back

Newly returning to the gymnastics scene and already an integral part of the USA Gymnastics Foundation’s Board of Directors, Ashley Davis is pouring as much as she can into the sport, its community, and the Foundation’s mission.

A Pennsylvania native, Davis participated in gymnastics as a young girl, where she developed a love for the sport. When the opportunity to give back to it came to her as an adult, Davis seized the opportunity.

“I’m not by any stretch a professional gymnast, but I grew up competing in western Pennsylvania, so gymnastics was always something near and dear to my heart… READ THE FULL STORY HERE!

Thank You, John Deary!

Thanks to John Deary’s generous $10,000 match, donors rallied and met the goal in a week and a half!

Your quick response proved how powerful our gymnastics community can be when we come together.

While the match is complete, joining as a monthly donor provides the consistent support to keep programs thriving year-round!
