As we close out our first eighteen months as a fundraising organization, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors who have stepped forward to strengthen and uplift the sport of gymnastics. Together, we’ve empowered athletes, enriched communities, and taken meaningful steps toward a stronger future. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped make this progress possible – and with the LA28 Olympic Games on the horizon, there is so much more we can accomplish together.
This remains a rebuilding period for both the USA Gymnastics Foundation and USAG, and I am proud to share that the Foundation distributed more than $316,000 this year in support of mental health and wellness programs, regional camps and clinics, scholarships, competition support, and grants to elite athletes.
These investments reflect the power of a community united in supporting OUR athletes. As we look ahead to 2026, there is so much to look forward to! We hope you will make a year-end gift to help us continue this important momentum.
This year also marks a meaningful leadership transition for USA Gymnastics. We offer our deepest thanks to Li Li Leung for her dedicated service, support as a donor, and her unwavering commitment to rebuilding the sport. Her legacy – especially her focus on the health and well-being of our athletes – will continue to guide us. I am delighted to warmly welcome incoming President & CEO Kyle Albrecht. The Foundation looks forward to partnering with Kyle to foster a culture of community where people feel inspired to come together and support our sport.
Finally, I want to extend a sincere THANK YOU to our Board of Directors for their steadfast leadership and support – especially Board Members Elodie Dupuy, whose $10,000 end-of-year match has already ignited generosity, and Molly Parker Prince, who is offering a $5,000 year-end match to help us finish the year strong.
None of this work happens alone. It takes donors, athletes, parents, coaches, judges, and fans – our entire community – to move this mission forward, and we are truly grateful for each of you!
Wishing you the happiest holidays,
Debbie Hesse

Not many people embody the title ‘comeback kid’ quite like Brody Malone. After a seven-year senior career filled with the highest highs and the lowest lows, Malone can proudly look back on his journey, having reached the peak of American and international achievement in the sport. However, with proper motivation and the support of the USA Gymnastics Foundation, he can also look forward to the future.

The USA Gymnastics Foundation has named Senior Men’s National Team members Taylor Burkhart and Brody Malone the newest recipients of the Daniel Zimpfer Memorial Fund Grant. Named in memory of NCAA gymnast and Olympic hopeful Daniel Zimpfer, the $20,000 grant supports men’s gymnasts as they pursue Olympic aspirations.

In awe of the sport and committed to seeing its popularity and prestige grow in America, Yev and Anna Kuznetsov are working together with the USA Gymnastics Foundation to support the U.S. rhythmic gymnasts prepare for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles – and beyond
