Hall of Famer and Olympic all-around champion Carly Patterson headlines an accomplished group of five new members welcomed to the USA Gymnastics Foundation board of directors in 2024.
The USA Gymnastics Foundation awarded more than $80,000 to 29 men’s collegiate gymnasts. Academic scholarship recipients are exceptional student-athletes that compete for NCAA, GymACT or NAIGC programs.
Eleven U.S. trampoline and tumbling athletes this year received scholarships from the USA Gymnastics Foundation to help mitigate college-related costs and focus their resources on training and competition.
Veteran Olympic family executive Debbie Hesse on Wednesday was introduced as executive director of the USA Gymnastics Foundation. USA Gymnastics President & CEO Li Li Leung made the announcement as part of her remarks at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, also revealing a new logo for the Foundation.
